The best way to play against these type of players is by being tight. Wait for a good hand and let them bet into you. When they bet, just call. If you try to raise, they will most likely fold. If you keep checking, they will often keep betting, thinking that they will eventually get you to lay down your hand. Use their arrogance against them.
Loose / Passive is often the weakest
Loose / Passive is often the weakest style of playing poker. Generally, very inexperienced or week players who just want to have fun will play a lot of hands, but since they are unsure of what to do, they will play passively.
