From Tables 3-3 and 4-1 and the observations above, it appears that during Win Streaks one would want to bet somewhere between a flat bet and a double-up bet. This means holding back some of one’s profit while winning. For Lose Streaks one may want to bet somewhere between a flat bet and a truncated Martingale primarily controlled by how much one is willing to risk while playing the game. We’ll develop this as we move along.
Now let’s see where an ‘ideal’ betting strategy might lead one as discussed in Section 5 below. 5. An ‘Ideal’ Standard Betting Strategy (‘Saving the Win Streak Earnings’) Table. 5-1 is termed An ‘Ideal’ Betting Strategy because the “winning” results are good and only one loss is experienced (Risk) but it is large and consequently can be devastating to one’s purse and one’s morale. However, the results are the same as any other betting strategy in that for a 50 /50 game there is no average gain or loss. Because “wins” are somewhat difficult to come by, one would like to save the earnings made during Win Streaks and not lose money during the Lose Streaks. Table 5-1 accomplishes this.
