Playing poker improves ones attention span, builds memory skills, aids logical thinking and mathematical reasoning, all the while developing a strong competitive drive and a winning nature. In addition, learning about cards and playing poker is just plain fun. Even when playing in penny-ante family poker games it’s possible to learn winning plays. Our beloved wily “Grandpa” is a tough experienced poker player. He knows exactly what he’s doing at the poker table. He has much to teach his grand children about poker and life, and maybe even something to teach his adult middle-aged son, also known as “The Dad.”
