The tournament had about 400 entries One hundred players per night competed for 10 selected spots. After 4 nights, 40 winning players compete in the finals. In the finals, the select 40 players all start with the same number of chips and play for 10 payoff spots: 1st place in the tournament receives $40,000 with declining pay-outs through 10th place, who receives $2,000.
