Your re-action: Reasonably, you’re upset with this tough loss. You must always keep in mind Seven-Card stud is a seven-card game. Having the best first 3 cards may make for a very favorable start, but not necessarily a winning hand. One thing is certain, when you lose you should not throw your cards at the dealer, nor yell obscenities at the winner (he might leave the table.) Nor should you punch the poor fellow quietly sitting next to you. Instead, you should congratulate the winner saying, “Nice hand,” and most importantly you should “sigh” deeply and relax. This “sigh” allows you to stop thinking of the past
