100. Two-Leg Stud
100. Two-Leg Stud In this variation, which can be used in any Stud game, no player may rake in the pot until he has won two hands. These need not be won consecutively. This is an exciting and thrilling gimmick for building big pots.
101. Baseball Stud
101. Baseball Stud This is dealt like Seven Card Stud with the first two and the last card dealt face down. A three-spot upcard strikes a player out, and out he goes—no matter how much he has contributed to the pot, and regardless of how good his hand may be. The nines are wild, whether face up or face down, and a four dealt face up to a player gives him an extra face-up card. The holder of the four-spot receives his extra card after all the players have been dealt their upcards for that round. A three or a four in the hole has no special significance; it is played the same as other nonvalued cards. The betting is the same as any Seven Card Stud variation. After the first upcard is dealt, and every round thereafter, a betting round takes place. It usually takes a flush or better to win a pot, but a straight will occasionally stand up.
