The only difference from regular Five Card Stud is the additional round of betting after each player has received his hole card. This game, rather than increasing the action of regular Stud, does just the opposite, since Poker hustlers and tight players fold on the first dealt hole card unless they get a high card (ace, king, queen, jack). In social or friendly games, however, the game is fun, since most players stay in the pot with any kind of hole card. However, even in social or friendly games, this game possesses a great weakness—namely, that the Poker hustler or the tight player who plays only with an ace or king in the hole will eventually win all the money.
