I made these statements concerning Poker in Scarne's Complete Guide to Gambling (1961) and am pleased that the Poker palaces of Gardena have included them and John Scarne in their rule book. However, a slight change in Gardena's "Facts About Poker in General" is now in order. Today 85 million adults play cards, and about 65 million prefer Poker.
