While Brunson was shuffling the deck, I faced my audience, took the shuffled deck from Brunson, flipped the deck from hand to hand accordion-fashion several times, and followed this by several two-handed double fan shuffles. After completing the fan shuffles, I fanned the deck face up across the desk top in such a manner that the card value of each of the fifty-two cards was visible to all.
