Middle Pairs 6’s thru 10’s Pocket pairs between 6's and 10s are tricky to play. If you raise pre-flop with them, you run the risk of being re-raised. These middle pairs are best played by seeing a flop as cheap as possible.

On the other hand calling a raise may be warranted, trying to flop a set, if you feel that good implied odds exist.
