How a person dresses can tell you a lot about their play. Unless it is very cold inside, players wearing hoodies are there to play to win. Add sunglasses and headphones to the ensemble and you can be assured that they play serious poker.
One of the first things that I look for
One of the first things that I look for when I sit down at a poker table is the way the other players stack their chips. Beginners and weak players will often stack their chips in stacks of 10 chips. Average to above average players, tend to stack their chips in stacks of the usual 20 and often strong players will stack their chips 40 high.
