Erdnase. I have once more ventured to edit his instructions a little, in the direction of greater clearness. Seize the pack with the right hand between the first joints of the second and third fingers at the upper, and the thumb at the lower end the fingers close together and the third finger and thumb close to the outer corners, so as to expose as much of the pack as possible. Bring up the left hand and seize the pack from beneath, at the right thumb end, between the first and second fingers and that portion of the palm just under the second joint of the thumb, the thumb lying straight across the backs of the cards close to the end.
